Gaston ACCESS 

Gaston Access provides demand response transportation including Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT), EDTAP, RGP, nutrition, ADC, senior, veteran and contracted services.

$1.00 for base subscription route fares

Cleveland County

Transportation Administration of Cleveland County (TACC)

Transportation Administration of Cleveland County (TACC) has fixed route, deviated fixed route and demand response for paratransit. TACC operates within Cleveland County with daily trips to Gaston County, weekly trips to Mecklenburg County and monthly trips to Asheville’s VA.

 To schedule a ride with TACC, passengers should please call 704-482-6465 at least 48 hours in advance. Return trip will be scheduled to allow the time passengers need. Passengers may check with the driver as to a return pickup time.

Service Hours:

Monday through Friday: 6 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Cost:

$1 per ride
$2 for deviations. 
Base rate is $1.67 per van mile in or out-of-county (plus $25 per hour if the driver is required to wait on a passenger)

Lincoln County

Transportation Lincoln County (TLC)

Transportation Lincoln County (TLC) provides service to Lincoln County and the state of North Carolina. Riders should call TLC dispatch at (704) 736-2030 to arrange rides. 

Service Hours:

Demand Response: Monday through Friday; 6:00 am – 5:00 pm
Out-of-county: 9 am – 3:00 pm
Mooresville and Huntersville: Tuesday through Thursday; 9:00 am – 2:00 pm
Lincolnton Town route 8:05 am – 5:45 pm (eight loops a day)

Costs:

$1.00 per boarding
Rural general public trips change price depending on zone.

Iredell County

Iredell County Area Transportation System (ICATS) offers fixed route, demand response, subscription and commuter express services to Mooresville Main, Statesville Bloom, VA Salisbury, ICATS Express and the Community Connection. 

Iredell County Area Transportation System (ICATS)

Transportation Service hours:

Monday through Friday: 4 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Saturday: 6 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Express routes run three trips during AM and PM peak 5:00 am – 8:30 pm
Bloom runs four trips daily 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
Mooresville Main runs seven trips 7:00 am – 6:00 pm
Community Connection runs eight trips a day 6:30 am – 4:00 pm
Shuttle to VA Hospital in Salisbury runs on Tuesdays 8:30 am – 4:00 pm

Salisbury Transit System (STS) 

Salisbury Transit System (STS) offers fixed route and demand response services. With three fixed routes, STS serves the city limits of Salisbury.

Service Hours:

Monday through Friday: 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Sunday: 9:30 a.m. to 3:20 p.m.

Cost:

$1 for all locations.
$0.50 reduced fare
$2.00 for paratransit fares

Rowan Transit System (RTS)

Rowan Transit System (RTS) serves Rowan County and has connections to China Grove, Landis and Kannapolis, Salisbury Transit Bus Depot and the Amtrak Station. RTS serves a different region of the county Tuesday through Friday. RTS uses RouteMatch for route planning.

Monday through Friday: 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Demand Response - $2 one way (except for those eligible for certain grant funded programs or Medicaid)

Cabarrus County

Cabarrus County Transit Services (CCTS)

Cabarrus County Transit Center (CCTS) provides demand response transportation and operates throughout Cabarrus County (and outside of the county for Medicaid services. The Demand Response Call Center receives calls Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 704-920-2246. If assistance is needed after this time, listen to the voice message and select the appropriate option. Please remember that any next day reservation that is scheduled after 1 p.m. will be treated as a same-day request and the appointment time or trip cannot be guaranteed.

Monday through Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Saturday: Services available if scheduled
West End Reach available Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 9:15 am – 2:45 pm

$3.00 per trip for rural general-purpose trips

Concord Kannapolis Rider Transit (Rider Transit) 

Concord Kannapolis Rider Transit (Rider Transit) provides fixed route bus service and ADA paratransit bus service in the urbanized core of Concord and Kannapolis. Rider Transit also has eight fixed routes and two routes that connect to the Charlotte Area Transit System.

Hours of Operation:

Monday through Friday: 5:30 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Saturday through Sunday: 8:30 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.

Fixed Route - $1.25/ride
ADA Paratransit - $2.00/ride

Stanly County

Stanly County Umbrella Services Agency

Serving all of Stanly County, Stanly County Umbrella Services Agency (SCUSA) provides demand response and subscription services. SCUSA fills demand response needs by working with existing subscriptions, basing routes on demand. Riders must call the Transportation Office at least 48 hours in advance to schedule a ride. Appointments are taken between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Services are available on first come/first serve basis. Planning ahead and calling to reserve trips is highly recommended.

MTS provides subscription and demand response services throughout Mecklenburg County. MTS services cost $1.50 for one-way tickets, with some trips covered by different agencies.

Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS)

CATS provides fixed route, paratransit, vanpool and light rail services throughout the Charlotte area. CATS services Charlotte, Mecklenburg County including six towns surrounding Charlotte (Davidson, Huntersville, Cornelius, Matthews, Pineville and Mint Hill) and the greater Charlotte region via regional express buses and vanpools.

Service Hours:

Monday through Saturday: approximately 5:00 a.m. - 1:30 a.m.
Sunday: 5 a.m. - 1 a.m.

Cost:

$2.20 for base fixed route fares
$3 for express fare
$4.40 for regional express fair
$3.50 for paratransit fares

Union County

Union Country Transportation (UCT)

Serves Union County, Matthews, Charlotte, Salisbury and occasional trips to the VA in Asheville or Durham. UCT requires 48 hours’ notice for scheduling. UCT fares are covered by grant funding (ROAP, 5310, 5307) and County general fund dollars (for grant matching requirements).

Anson County Transit System (ACTS)

Anson County Transit System provides demand response and subscription services including regular nutritional routes for the elderly to Wadesboro and Morven meal sites and work routes throughout the Town of Wadesboro.

Costs:

$18.64 per hour
$0.77 per mile
Fares are split among passengers on the same route.

York County

My Ride

Free to ride, the City of Rock Hill’s My Ride fixed route service has four routes and covers the downtown area of Rock Hill. My Ride Direct is a supplementary paratransit service for people with disabilities who cannot use the fixed-route system.

Monday through Saturday: 7:00 am – 7:00 pm*
Sunday : 9:00 am – 5:00 pm*
Route 1 Downtown/Knowledge Park Loop extended service: Fridays and Saturdays until 9:00pm.

Cost:

Fixed Route $0

* No service on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

York County Access 

York County Access, operated by the York County Council on Aging and represents a cooperative effort between York County and the City of Rock Hill, provides essential service and ride-to-work service. York County Access serves Rock Hill, Clover and York County. To reserve space or to learn more, riders should call the York County Council on Aging at (803) 327-6694, extension 304. Clover residents should call 1-866-607-1910 for assistance.

Service Hours:

6 a.m. - 6 p.m. with 48 hours advance notice
Ride-to work Service Hours: 5:30 am – 9:00 am; 3:30 pm – 6:00 pm

Lancaster Area Ride Service (LARS) provides on-demand response services running throughout Lancaster County from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with service broken up based on region Monday through Friday. Prices listed below represent a one-way ride. Riders should call 803-285-6956 to make LARS transportation reservation at least three business days in advance.
